It would work like, you get enough posts for a power. The you fel the urge to go there or there or something.
When you get there there would be a temple and you get you ability onece you enter.
Something like that.

No you go to a certain place in the storyline to get your power. So that it makes sense where you got it.
and yeah you get an extra post for it.
